So amazing that such a snake would take it that way. I've heard that sunbeams can be somewhat difficult to manage / feed in captivity. I mean, it doesn't surprise me that my boa did that and I've heard of other boas or baby retics doing that, but I wouldn't have thought a sunbeam would! What a neat experience!
And she's a GORGEOUS animal! Thank you for sharing the pictures - she really is just lovely!
Edit: If I may ask, where did you get this snake? Sunbeams are on my long-term wish list, lol....
Thanks, I've seen some people feeding their babies when they were in their hands online before but didn't think I would experience it for myself.
It was over in a flash though! Haha, super fast eater.
I got him from Underground Reptiles, but I had an iffy experience with them. He came to me with blisters and they argued with me over the phone that I didn't receive the one that they sent pictures of. Tried saying that the snake they sent looked perfect, and then tried to say that the blisters were scars since they were wild caught. Well those two statements dont exactly match each other.
Haha.

Thanks everyone.
I was a little worried about his lack of appetite, but lets hope he's on the right track.
