    Very nice set up! I agree with above - only concerned with the heat lamp, too. What kind of protector are you buying?

    That should do. I used to use that style of bulb in a fixture outside my cage and one day I got curious as to the temps those bulbs run at so I took a reading with my IR gun and was shocked to see the thing said 348 degrees F. at that temp if your snake decided to wrap up on it, it would be fatal. I would hate to see you lose such a pretty girl over a $7.00 part. Cage looks good though.

    Oh Jesus! Will definitely purchase it as soon as i can grab hold of some money!

    And thankyou, spent alot on it to be fair, over £200 easily plus the snake was £55
    so worth it so far, my first snake, wont be my last :p
