Re: Sterling ball or Pewter Ball

What inconsistencies are you talking about???? I traded him a male sterling, he got a male sterling, the original owners BOTH verify its a sterling..........I'm failing to see the inconsistant part.....And as for publicly refusing to fix it......I never made such a claim......I held up my end of the trade.....He wanted my male sterling, and that's what he got.......So I don't have to fix a damn thing, especially after he threatened to use physical violence.......That right there put an end to everything....And the only reason I'm even entertaining this is to prove what I've known all along, that the snake IS a sterling

You cannot see the forest for the trees. You have a unhappy customer. FIX IT. You will benefit in the long run.

If you fail to see the inconstancies that have been previously pointed out, that is on you.

Also, since the breeder's name has been brought up in this, where is his response?

in·con·sist·ent adjective - lacking in harmony between the different parts or elements; self-contradictory:

sell verb - to transfer (goods) to or render (services) for another in exchange for money; dispose of to a purchaser for a price
trade noun - an exchange of items, usually without payment of money.

Do I even have to explain why it is inconsistent?

So you first statement implies a sterling was part of your breeding plans, but doesn't technically state it is, so ill give you the benefit of a doubt there. You also admit it being a pewter at that point, which you seem to call it a sterling afterwards. I would like to hear the breeder take on this also, because I don't believe that to be a sterling. Your second statement states it was never part of your breeding plans, ok thats fine. Your thrid statement says you can change your breeding plans, which yes you can. We already know that your breeding plans as of the second statement were not to have the snake. But did they change to wanting the snake? It doesn't appear so, they never changed did they? If they did not change your third statement had no place in the conversation. Your inconstant whether your breeding plans changed or not. You just contradict yourself either way.

I think it can all be summed up to this....
ma·nip·u·late verb - to manage or influence skillfully, especially in an unfair manner

There are some circles where attaining a snake simply for immediately trading it for another snake (or selling it) is also frowned upon. Pretty much the definition of Flipping, and not something a serious breeder wants to be doing.

Alls i want him to do is trade back, send my yellowbelly back to me. And i will send back this pewsterling or whatever it is. He has yet to prove anything he has said about any breeder varifying anything. Its all just lies. He is misleading and had not been honest at all. i am totally unhappy with this and if he was any kind of breeder or buisness man, he would send my snake back to me, especially after all of the misleading and questioning about the identity of the snake in question. He himself admitted to not even knowing for sure what it was. Its all in black and white for everyone in this forum and everyone in this reptile community to see. So if he refuses to make this right and send my yellowbelly back to me, what is his standing here in this forum, and in the entire reptile community ?? i just want my snake back or i want him to make up for the difference in price with another reptile. How am i wrong for that ?????

It's probably because I am honest and straight shooter and expect the same from others, when I don't see that it raises my suspicions. Good thing I equally pointed the issues with both of you because in this case you are both equally guilty.

I mean what I say and say what I mean that much be a new concept for you but you should try.

    If I say "I bought", I did

    If I say "I traded" I did

If I say "It was never part of my plan" It never was.

    ETC

I don't have multiple versions, only one and it remains the same through and through. YOU are the it depends what the definition of is is type

You see it as picking apart details I see it as inconsistencies that make your character being questionable.

Now again conduct yourself as a business person do what is right when a customer is not satisfied, and then both disappear until you both learn how to run business.

It doesn't matter if the snake is a confirmed sterling fader whiteout het unicorn. Your customer is unhappy. Pull up your big boy panties and make it right.

Being dishonest doesn't mean you lied. Omitting the truth is dishonest and shady, and that is what you did. You omitted that you had doubts, that your friend would guarantee the genetics etc.

Agreed, especially if you plan on talking business on here.

I think the other members have made it pretty clear that you contradict yourself and are shady. I think I know plenty about this situation to make my assessment. I asked you to clarify something that I felt was off, I did not 'insert my thoughts or opinions midway in a conversation without knowing everything that's been said'. But thank you so much for your failed attempt to slam me.

I, like many others on here, want to weed out the scammers, the deceitful, and the people who just generally make this hobby look bad. I don't like it that some people choose to tarnish an awesome thing, and I want to try to avoid these types of people if at all possible.

You guys are both wrong, and you are dodging making things right. I would never do what you did - sell a snake as something I've been told repeatedly that it is not, all the while changing my story and contradicting myself. Don't get mad at me because I am trying to clarify things. After all, an honest person wouldn't get mad at a simple question.
