Nothing wrong with snuggle time, mine love snuggling with his head in my hair he can stay like that four hours.
Your baby looks like he is doing great, told you that you would really enjoy those guys

His tongue is actually much wider that that picture shows. But they flick it a lot "tasting" the air. That pic is mid flick so its curled and looks a bit funny. When they are being defensive / aggressive they will open theor mouth and spread out their tongue wide. Like a "don't mess with me" thing. It's pretty cool to see tthe full extent of their tongues!

I love the pic of him snuggling under your chin. I got a pair of Irian Jaya bts from Tom Crutchfield back when they first started to be imported. The male was a young adult and was very tame and friendly from the get go. He used to snuggle under my chin like your little guy is doing in the pic. Your post brought back some very fond memories! Thanks!!
