    get a thermostat, soon as possible.

    My tank is 90 % covered with aluminum foil, to retain heat and humidity.

    I don't have any heat lights, just 4 uth.

    BP's don't like lights, they are nocturnal.

    3 are thermostat controlled, the 4th one is constantly powered located directly under the water dish.
