Because it's amusing. And because there are actually some valuable lessons to be learned in this thread....for anyone who has the wit to see them.

Pretty sure it could be summed up with:

a) You do not know everything.
b) If you want to learn, listen to people who have more experience than you, be polite.
c) If you do not understand specific details, ask nicely for clarification.
d) If you feel like you know everything, refer to point a. (there's always more to learn, that's why you can do it every day!)
e) Admit it if you screw up, and refer to points a and b.

I don't think it's particularly complicated, but maybe it's harder for some to set their ego aside and listen.

Bonus points for amusing me at work though!
