There's one about bears and sticks and poking and terror and embarrassment and shame and ridicule, but some folks just don't (refuse to more like) see it.

Because it's amusing. And because there are actually some valuable lessons to be learned in this thread....for anyone who has the wit to see them.

Pretty sure it could be summed up with:

a) You do not know everything.
b) If you want to learn, listen to people who have more experience than you, be polite.
c) If you do not understand specific details, ask nicely for clarification.
d) If you feel like you know everything, refer to point a. (there's always more to learn, that's why you can do it every day!)
e) Admit it if you screw up, and refer to points a and b.

I don't think it's particularly complicated, but maybe it's harder for some to set their ego aside and listen.

Bonus points for amusing me at work though!

I'd give you a nice shiny gold star for the effort, but you wouldn't appreciate it. Thanks for sharing the banality of your life though. It is rather sad though that you felt the need to brag about a poor decision and then not have the stones to admit it was your own fault-no one forced you to read it- and then have the nerve to tell people, about whom you know less than nothing, that they had the gall to waste YOUR time and intellect? Can you say narcissistic?

You seem to think that the sun shines out your butt, but you are in error. I see nothing more clearly, I have no better an understanding of my fellow man due to your stunning wit and skill with words. However, I am somewhat appalled at the amount of time I've wasted addressing this lack in your character. Perhaps this is something you should ponder during your 'personal' time. I'm thinking you have that in abundance.

So, pull up your shorts, it ain't the sun, more like a turgid puss filled boil that may feel hot as blazes but brings no illumination, and try to play nice.
