I think I heard that the champagne womas didn't survive long.

Josh Marki produced an pastel enchi mimosa which, in my opinion, is one of the best combos so far.

There have been many threads on different forums regarding several champagne combos that are lethal. I produced a super champagne last year that passed two weeks after hatching. A friend produced a champagne spider that lasted a couple months I believe but was a problem from the start. I've also read/heard that champ sable, champ hidden gene woma and champ woma (I think) have produced weak hatchlings that don't survive for long. There may be exceptions but I haven't heard of any nor have I seen any for sale.

Back in 2011 I was sent an e-mail and a couple photos of freshly hatched HGW Champagnes. I was offered a pair and when I followed up they had passed. I then spoke to the breeder in Daytona and he said they weren't 100% and passed shortly after hatching. I don't remember his name, it's been a while.

Interesting that a lot of Champagne combos seem to produce potentially lethal offspring also unfortunate to hear that the Super Champagne didn't survive, I had been under the impression that it was still around.
In regards to the Super Champ though, what was it like? Just super weak or did it seem neuro or something like that.

Oh i know about the lethal combos. I was just curious because for that perticular combo, Champagne Woma, i did not hear that it proved to be fatal. HGW Champagne i know turned out to have problems.

I know all about your Super Champagne my friend. That was quite a shame as it was an amazing looking animal.

She was off for sure, I would describe it as extremely nervous. She seemed fine if you observed her but if you touched her she would panic and tuck her head in, or try and get away in panic mode. Very skittish, beyond a typically nervous bp. She seemed slightly weak but seemed to be getting stronger and then she passed.

    Thanks! It was very disappointing.

Here is a comparison between the same champagne het russo and his clutchmate.

From what Vin Russo said when we bought him (and what we see in this pic), the het russo brightens, cleans up that bit of brown, less bubbles, and throws some ringers. Vin said he has another champ het russo with a big ringer. Although if anyone is a champagne ringer king, that would be Dave Green

I actually just looked at a Champagne Mojave on WorldOfBallPythons.com

Looks extremely similar to my Champagne Het Russo which makes sense since they're on on the same ...locus? allele?? (I'm actually not sure of the terminology but you get what I'm saying )

I might be a bit bias on this topic, but I love my little HY Champin!
