Chewbacca the Hognose has arrived!

So my little western hognose has arrived!

He is tiny tiny!! The guy drove about 40 minutes to deliver him to me. Poor little guy was FREEZING!

But he is in his 9QT tub now warming up!

Here are some pictures of him! I decided to name him Chewbacca but I will be calling him Chewy for short

The smallest hides I have were still way to big for him so I put some of the shredded aspen he came with in the hides for him.

Also the substrate is paper towel for now while he is in QT so I can see if he has mites and what not. I know the hognoses prefer something they can burrow in.

Nice pick up and welcome to hognose keeping I started off with one. Now I have 20 and counting. They are addicting. Lol
