Tubs are usually used because they are easier to maintain temperatures and humidity compared to an aquarium.
If you can't keep the tub in an area with an ambient of 80, itd be better not to do the switch.
If you want a display like cage, look into PVC enclosures. They maintain heat and humidity like a dream.
