    Seriously??
Very few of these yellowbelly's look like normals, you really can't see what makes up a yellowbelly?
Yellowbelly's are not only pattern snakes but they are a cleaner gene similar to fires and a few other genes that clean up the combo's they make.
Pastels look nothing like a yellowbelly

Here's a simple example of a het red axanthic yellowbelly showing how much yellowbelly adds to the het red morph.

A good quality YB will look nothing like a normal.
No offense, but your eye must need adjustments. Pastel?? Really?
It adds a lot to breeding. It enhances morph by cleaning them up and adding blushing/flames. Look at the fire yb, black pastel yb, inferno, etc. If you want to make amazing looking combos, YB is a must have. If you can't see the difference in 2 gene combos, you can't miss it when there are 3+.

Here are a couple of yellow belly combos that I really like. I wasn't a huge fan of yellow bellies early on but once I started seeing combos that all changed.

    Yellow Belly Hidden Gene Woma

    Pastel Yellow Belly Genetic Stripe
