Almost every yellow belly I see just looks like a normal to me. Or maybe a pastel. I don't see what y'all see unless you're breeding ivorys. I don't see what it adds to other morphs in breeding either.

I will admit it took me a bit to pick them out. There are a few markers for yellow bellys I think I can explain via text. So here is a normal belly

Its got much pattern and randomness to it. Here is my yellow bellys belly

It's clean in the middle and towards the outside it gets pixelated and checkery. Sometimes there is a yellowish hue but not 100%.
That's the main difference. The other 2 markers I look for is a head spot and flames. Flames is when the belly whiteness tries to bleed up the side pattern of the snake. Like in this pic.

You can see the blushing coming up around the side of her from underneath. Also she has a head mark.

As far as it in combos goes, it usually adds brightness to the snake. Like in pastels they seem to allow the yellow to stick around longer. It can also bust up the side pattern giving the combo a more busy and jagged look. And of course everyone likes an ivory. Heck of a morph IMHO. Hope this helps ya.

they're cleaner, lighter, and brighter. and they seem to maximize those qualities when combined with other morphs. don't sleep on the potential of the YB gene. at this point, I prefer them even to fires or any other single gene 'clean-up' morph.

also a big fan of the super
