I was afraid something like this would happen.

Crowded space, busy and distracted vendors, multiple animals lined up, high dollar price tags on containers, it was a situation begging for something to get stolen. Every time I was at a booth and the vendor started chatting or I needed to buy something I couldn't help but to wonder how they kept track of everything. Those booths with multiple people in it were probably a little better off, but even then it isn't foolproof.

And it really was over crowded. I skipped a LOT of booths because so many people were crowded around. I get a little nervous in crowds, AND I was carrying a baby, so I needed to look out for her safety as well.
Why keep a snake? Why keep any animal? Because you enjoy the animal, find something beautiful and fascinating about it, and it fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

I feel bad for the kids, they get pushed out of the way. Seems the best seat in the house is on a dads shoulders!
I like the locked acrilic keepers, I think thats the best way to minimize quick snatches. Round plastic keepers is trouble
Y'kno, it definitely seems like there were more adults than kids at this show. Normally there's a bunch of tiny heads in front of the tables, and I can just take pictures over them, but now I wait until the table is clear.. Poor kids o_O. Definitely more crowded than ever before.

That's why as a vendor you can't skimp on the display stuff...

I love my keyed lock acrylics, but I still have stuff with hasps.. and I watch that like a hawk.

I hate to be paranoid, but obviously it happens.

People do suck sometimes, but most are cool
