Looks like glowing and she is definitely bigger then in the other pic. If she wasn't locked I would think that was an ovy right there looking at the swell. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks! I am definitely working on finishing up my incubator. I want them to finish so I can exam some more! This is so freaking exciting for me! This girl laid 9 eggs last season (she has only ever been bred by ivory before she came to me).

Yeah she is definitely glowing. Look up some youtube vids on how to palpate it takes a while to get the hang of it but once you got it down it is a great tool. I am only good at about quarter size follicles anything smaller I can not feel. LOL

Your girl is so big you may not feel anything. Good Luck hope you get lots of eggs from her.

I've tried palpating before but I feel like I wasn't hardly apply any pressure compared to how I've seen some breeders do in videos. It looks like they are completely flattening them out! This girl is pretty darn big so it's hard to get her to completely relax.

So I think I was mistaken. This girl is definitely bowl wrapping and I haven't seen we do that before now!
