yea but the margin isnt as big as people think. People are faster because they wear half the pads. But the players today lack the passion, meanness, grittiness, and toughness of the older players. Almost all players from the 70s to the 90s had the toughness of ray lewis and urlacher and such. Go watch old games when players were bleeding and their hands wer all taped up and torn up and dirty with ripped jerseys and all that. that was grown man football.
