Probe flexwatt placement issue

I find taping the probe to the top of the heat tape better than sliding the probe under the heat tape.
I've used HD clear packaging tape for years and never had an issue with a probe moving or heat tape coming loose.

Excellent thought, I hadn't thought of using that kind of tape. I think I will cut the channel in up to the flexwatt depression (so none of the wire sticks up) then use the packing tape to tape the probe on top of the flexwatt.
