Be wary of Boas and Balls rodents. Parasites!

Rats I purchased there recently were not only dirty and smelly but infested with external parasites. The only offer of compensation was to refund the cost of any rats I returned in a sealed package. No refund or compensation for any shipping costs. Most of my Ball pythons refuse them.

Some sort of location information would be helpful.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

If they had external parasites, I wouldn't have offered them to my snakes.

Re: Be wary of Boas and Balls rodents. Parasites!

I wonder if they will say anything about it. Since I started breeding I've heard nothing but bad things about the rats they offer here in Colorado. They also like to call authorities when you breed and sell rats to others...... That's on a different note though

I was looking into purchasing a bp from them before I found my current breeder. Gotta go with those gut feelings! Thanks for the heads-up!

Pics can be seen on my Facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...4101964&type=1

I'm told that these are rat lice which makes sense because they are firmly attached to the hair.

They will not get any more business from me for sure.
