I, for one, have never heard the word "ignorant" used with a positive connotation, or by anyone for that matter, who did not have direct intentions of offending someone or putting someone else "below" oneself. religion aside, if i called you ignorant for any reason, would you not assume i meant to offend? or, at the very least, intend to make you know i think higher or better of myself than you? when noobs come on here and ask simple questions regarding their snake husbandry we do not call them ignorant in their animal keeping, because we know that's not nice. we all believe in manners don't we? and sometimes that means not saying anything if you don't have anything nice to say. calling religion "proud ignorance" was completely unnecessary and brought absolutely nothing positive to this forum.. quite the opposite actually. whatever god we believe in (or don't), we come from the same one (or don't).
