    Tongue question

Okay, this is a silly question but why doesn't my ball flick his tongue much? All the snakes I've been around before ( mostly garter and bull) always seemed to be flicking their tongues out. The only time Watson flicks his is after we have had him out of his cage and put him back. Then he will move around and flick his tongue. He also does it when we put a mouse in his tank. Otherwise he never seems to do like when we are holding him.
    Just wondering...

Also I want to say this site ROCKS !! We have learned SO MUCH here and Watson is settling in nicely
    THANKS.

X2 I have a smaller male who does npot flick as much and one I was worried about grew out of it and flicks all the time now so I would not worry about it to much as long as they are eating and shedding ok

    Re: Tongue question

Thanks. He is still a baby so I guess he may flick his tongue more when he's bigger. He's eating, though only live so far, and had his first shed so I think we are doing good. He's slowly gaining weight too.
    Thanks again for the advice!
