It is a dominant gene. Breeding them together does not get you a super. After I got my female spider up to breeding size, my male spider lost his potential. I have no plans for him that she can not take care of. Once I get a 2 or 3 gene spider critter, it will be male though. However, just being a single gene the females just make more sense to me now. This is the same idea as why would you pair a normal male? Not that a pair of spiders does not hold value for everyone though
