Re: Best place to buy a Ball Python?

We don't carry heat tape, but sometimes we can fit a few supplies in a box with an animal. You can always call us and ask what we could fit. For questions like that it's best to call during the week, though, so the person packing the orders can answer them in detail.

If you can wait an expo is the best place. The prices are generally good and you save so much on shipping. I was talking to a breeder at a show recently and he was laughing at how some people will not just go to a show to get stuff they would rather pay shipping. If you are trying to run a business, eliminating shipping costs could save you hundreds a year depending on what you have to get.

While an expo is a good place, if you don't mind getting things from seperate places, Reptile Basics carries all your needs.

For a snake, I can personally recommend our own Freakie_Frog. Got a gorgeous Enchi from him. He is (the snake) very mellow and chill, and a champ eater. And dealing with Ed was great.

Also can highly recommend Bob Futo. I found him in kingsnake and got a gorgeous snake from him as well. Who is also chill and eats like a champ. Transaction went great with Bob as well.

I am mid stream on a transaction with Mike Bell, but so far so good.

Garrick Demyer at Royal Constrictor Designs is great to do business with also.

BHB Reptiles sells normals for about $40. I ordered all of my snakes from them and all have been very healthy. They make sure your snake is shipped safe and quick, My Ghost Ball who came in today had 2 heat packs and was insulated throughly because it is very cold where I live. Also my good friend ordered a normal from him with very unique coloring and patterns. Only downside is you cannot see individual pictures of the snake you are getting. Good luck!

I also got a normal from BHB in May. S/he's doing great. Hasn't refused a meal, pretty chill (aside from the small snake nervousness).
