"People with cat allergies are really allergic to proteins in the cat's saliva, urine, and dander"

I assume it's no different with rats, so hair has nothing to do with it except that they don't leave the hair laying all over with dander attached to it.

    I concur; male male female.

5 weeks is a fine time to separate. Some will separate as early as 3 or 4 weeks, but I personally always left mine for 5 weeks, never any problems.

Any name "theme" preference? I see an "Iris" when I look at that last picture, but that may be too "flowery" lol
Why keep a snake? Why keep any animal? Because you enjoy the animal, find something beautiful and fascinating about it, and it fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

Glad that works, she's a cute little girl!

I know what you mean about names... I have to see the animal and get a feel for it before a name really sticks. My puppy went weeks before she had a name. My tortoise and silky chickens still don't have names, and I'm not even going to bother with naming the other chickens! Ironically my rosy boas ended up with names pretty quickly, but that had more to do with their colors than anything else! lol ("Char" for the "charcoal" colored boa, and "Cin" for the "cinnamon" colored boa)

I told my husband I like the mojave ball pythons, and that the color is apparently nicknamed "mojo". So he responds, "Oh is that what you'll name the snake?" lol
