My father in law's C9 seems to jam roughly once per magazine, and it's not the only example I've heard of that is like that. Even if that wasn't the case, there seem to be a lot of objectively better options in the pistol world; there are a lot of guns that are lighter, slimmer, and carry more rounds, along with being produced by companies with a better reputation for reliability. The main advantage of the Hi-Point guns seems to be price, and in the long run, that's minor compared to ammo anyway, even if you reload.I have the 9mm carbine that is a workhorse
