- Glock is one of the ugliest guns but I've never had one single issue with mine, and shoot about a 5" grouping at 50 yards.

Absolutely as far as the "looks" go but the function speaks for itself. From your grouping, do you shoot a Weaver stance or modified Weaver by chance? I used to shoot/prefer modified Weaver but have since gone to an isosceles stance after a training I attended; pretty sure it was with Yavapai Firearms in Arizona but I could be wrong...either them or Gunsite Academy, I can't remember for sure. Anyway, my point is the grip angle on the Glocks was designed to align the bore axis with your arms/wrists as they would be presented when shooting the isosceles stance. Something about the grip angle matching how the bones in your arms/wrists lock when you shoot that form, with the strong hand wrist slightly canted down and the support hand wrist following suit...I don't know if there's any truth to it or not but we were hitting 8" steel plates at 100 yards from the prone with handguns, so the guy teaching it might have known what he was talking about, lol!

Thanks!, I am a bit of a knife nut, Busse Combat and their Infi steel are probably my favorite when it comes to fixed blades.

You can never go wrong with a Glock. I really love CZ's and ergonomically I think nothing comes close but if I had to pick one gun for the rest of my life it would be the Glock.

I Googled that knife and while the price isn't cheap, quality never is. That thing is SAAAA-WEET! and thank you for steering me to my Christmas present, lol!

CZ's are fine guns in and of themselves, absolutely. I'd put them on par with Sigs, in my opinion, as far as their functionality and how they handle. However, like you said, if I could only own one gun for the rest of my days (yeah, right! It'll never be "just one", lol!), it would be a Glock. Ugly, no frills but a purpose-built piece of hardware that I would trust my life to so long as I did my part.

I can't complain with my Glock, I've come to love it. I shoot Isosceles...basically you're square to the target. Our firearms instructor will take a baby glock and shoot 100 yards away hitting a 10" circle....upside down. It was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life.

That's awesome! Our instructor is a joke: a "dynamic" training consist of shooting paper targets in a NRA PPC course and when the paper flies off the backer board, that's "dynamic", lol! Luckily the sheriff's department in my county has some A+ guys on their staff who know their stuff and let those of us who want to, train with them. A box of ammo is cheap, considering...& thankfully my wife seems to like me so she doesn't mind when I drop serious money on off-site trainings a few times a year.

Actually, he's adamant that it's me causing the jams. I've shot his. 45, .38, 9mm, and .22- all many times and with no issues. They are all hand guns, but I couldn't tell you much beyond that. I'm not an enthusiast, just want to be able to defend myself should the need arise. Hopefully it never does.

Beretta is not made by Taurus. Beretta started in Italy and Taurus is made in Brazil. I would not worry about it being a Taurus, it could be a HiPoint , absolute junk.

Them saying "limp wrist" is not trying to put you down. It is when a person shooting a pistol allows to much movement in the wrist while shooting a semi auto and causes a jam by interrupting the proper recoil cycle on the pistol. This is usually caused by having a limp wrist and that's where you get the term.

I would suggest you find a smaller caliber that you can control better. You will find yourself to be a better shot and be much safer in the event you actually need to defend yourself.

A well placed shot with a smaller caliber is better than any large caliber miss.

I love a girl with a gun, I wish I could get my fiance interested. Doesn't share my interest in snakes or guns.

I have more guns than I have fingers and toes. I wonder if that pink S&W 22 would perk her interest, if not I may look a bit odd shooting it. May have to go shopping.

As far as stance.
Isosceles is better so your body armor faces the threat. I even prefer this for shooting my long guns. Makes it easier to scan for your next threat and address it.

pssstt I know where they are made and you better look again, Taurus OWNS the Beretta factory in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This is the location Baretta built to start the 92F models for a contract with the Brazilian Army. After that contract ran out they got in bed with Taurus. Yes Beretta has their own plant in Italy and there are firearms that they do not share with Taurus (mainly shotguns) but reguardless of that, Why do you think they have mate guns on just about every small arms model

I have about 3000 rounds through a HiPoint C9. It is deadly accurate, has never jammed, and is not falling apart....yup absolute junk
