I agree you may be limp wristed after a few rounds (does not allow the recoil to fully reload the chamber) or you are interfering with the return of the slide with your hand. Have you ever been bitten by the slide? You would know, as it really hurts.

If your boyfriend can empty several MAGAZINES (they are not clips), then it is likely operator error on your end. Sounds like a better grip and more range time are in order.

They are built to the same standard.
Seeing as your man can clear the clip and not have any problems I would feel safe to say it is you.
Have you paid attention to what you are doing? Maybe a little limp wrist after a couple rounds?
I am also not a big .45acp fan but that is more of a shot placement arguement and probably not needed here.
Do you have any problems with other auto hand guns?
I didn't know Beretta manufactured Taurus, not that knowing would mean anything to me anyway

Actually, he's adamant that it's me causing the jams. I've shot his. 45, .38, 9mm, and .22- all many times and with no issues. They are all hand guns, but I couldn't tell you much beyond that. I'm not an enthusiast, just want to be able to defend myself should the need arise. Hopefully it never does.

Ha ha! You're calling me limp wristed AND dogging my terminology?? Dang!
I admit, guns aren't my thing. I probably am a little limp wristed

Give me a bow and arrow though and I can shoot a dime at 40 yards, true story!

Maybe I should just ditch the gun and get a can of mace?

The term CLIP is originally for a stripper clip to load the magazine of most older rifles, AK47, SKS, M44, M91, really any of the Nagant family has a bolt that is cut to accept a stripper clip or speed loader.
When referencing a device to hold your ammo it really doesnt matter what you call it.
A clip and a magazine ARE the same thing, a speed loader would be for my wifes S&W Mod60 .357

That is a lovely piece of high-carbon steel ^! And your 17 isn't too shabby either. My wife loves her Glock 26 and after I went to their armorer schools, I won't buy anything else...except maybe an H&K or a Sig, lol!

Thanks!, I am a bit of a knife nut, Busse Combat and their Infi steel are probably my favorite when it comes to fixed blades.

You can never go wrong with a Glock. I really love CZ's and ergonomically I think nothing comes close but if I had to pick one gun for the rest of my life it would be the Glock.

I'm so jealous! What do you guys use them for? Just down the range or to kill game?
