Not to change the subject but don't ever carry something that isn't reliable. You say it jams every fifth shot, well what if the time you need it is on that 5th time. Also most defensive shootings have more than 1 shot fired. All my carry stuff have hundreds of rounds through them without any failures before they are trusted. Just trying to look out for your best interest.

I'm not actually carrying it with me these days. I've been given the same advice by others. I suspect that if I ever needed it and were in a position to access it, I'd be in my home anyway. Having said that, it is accessible in my home and if I ever feel like my life is in danger, I'm shooting until it jams.

    I would find out why?
I have what is considered the worst gun of them all, S&W Sigma in .40..............I actually have a pair of them.
After I let others shoot them, they really like them. The hard trigger takes a little getting use to but they are spot on.
My favorite is my 9mm Ruger P89
This one has had a ton of polishing
The teflon jacket works wonders and its nice only haveing to oil once a year or so.

These are a pair of "hush" guns I did for the wife and I.
Both are Mossberg 500 actions, mine is 12ga with a breech and her is 20ga (still have to get a 16 inch for it)
Blackhawk recoil reduction stocks make mine feel like a .410 and hers like a .22 Nice when you want to shoot all day.

Im not big on AR15 because everyone has one except me.............when my time and money are right I will be building a REAL AR.............. an AR10 just to reach out and touch whatever I want.

I think it's just a cheap piece of crap...or I'm crap! It only jams on me. My boyfriend has shot clip after clip to try to see what's going on, it's never jammed on him at all. He has a Heckler and Koch .45 that I can shoot all day with no problem.

You're right though, I should probably get it figured out. Or get a better gun.

You do know your Taurus (everyone thinks its a junk gun) owns Baretta
They are built to the same standard.
Seeing as your man can clear the clip and not have any problems I would feel safe to say it is you.
Have you paid attention to what you are doing? Maybe a little limp wrist after a couple rounds?
I am also not a big .45acp fan but that is more of a shot placement arguement and probably not needed here.
Do you have any problems with other auto hand guns?
