Take a piece of scotch tape and gently press it over the eye cap so that some of the tape is on the skin around the eye as well. gently and slowly peel the tape off in the direction of the snake's normal shed (from nose towards the back) The eye cap should come off with the tape. Make sure the tape is not too sticky and don't use duct tape. Hope this helps.

You never want to use tape when removing eye caps. Any kind of tape. You can remove the live membrane as well with this method and permanently damage the eye.
