I grew up listening to his LPs, too...and yeah, I'm totally dating myself! He was my first introduction to stand-up comedy and I've had a crush on him since the early 70's. My next big comedian to love was George Carlin, who was my dad's favorite. Listened to him on LP, too, believe it or not, back in his early days, I guess. Gallager was another old-time favorite we enjoyed watching in the early days of cable and rented video tapes.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Pablo Francisco!

Look him up on Netflix, I think they've got some of his specials.

Loved the Cosby Lp's. "There's that little voice that says, I wonder where he would go if I just Woosh? If it hadn't been for his head." BTW, we're giving away our age folks.

The great thing about Cosby is he was never reduced to cursing in his bits and was still hilarious. From back in the day I also loved Carlin, Pryor, Martin, Murphy, Redd Fox, and Lewis Black. One guy who I thought was underated was Larry Miller. I saw a standup routine of his on HBO once and it was a scream.

Going with some more recent comedians, Dunham, Cook, Izzard, and the whole Blue Collar gang. Izzard is probably my favorite because his humor is so intelligent, history based, and sarcastic which appeals to my nature. "We are restoring this back to the way it was almost 50 years ago."

I liked Dane Cook when he was just starting to get noticed... then over time I realized he's a one-trick pony, and now only gets laughs from the shock value of the grotesue sexual language.

Now, It's Gabriel Iglesias, Richard Pryor, and Kat Williams
