Nah thats not weird at all. Quite normal actually. Maybe our countries border eachother? In Mikeytopia i picture myself as the most awesomest awesomelete winning the super awesome bowl. Also we dont have stupid stuff like daylight savings or high gas prices. The world kinda just stays in sync from some "invisible hand" guiding it if you will. Its really just my awesomeness guiding everything though. Its like the mana of Mikeytopia. Like in Avatar they have that huge life tree. Im basically that huge tree they all plug their hair into.

Thats all just my imagination running wild. In real life though i just wake up and start my day by pissing excellence and see where the rest of the day goes from there.

Haha yes perfect it's always great when you have an imagination, some of the girls I know say I'm almost 24 but I have more imagination then a 6 year old. Me and my nephew were playing with his toys and I'm sure I was more into it then him since he's only 8 months old. But what's life with out a lil imagination.

    @ the OP:

It may sound condescending but it's true - You're at the age where you have pretty little control and your emotions will run wild on occasion.

The trick is to positively work on the long, SLOW, TEDIOUS maturation process that everyone goes through. Growing up takes time and effort.

It's not a bad idea to have some values you try to live your life by, to help guide your decision making. Experience will shape how your emotions kick up when presented with a stimulus.

It may sound corny, but seriously, try to have a couple of personal values to aspire to. Help yourself develop into someone worthwhile, and not a jerk. Some good examples:
    - Compassion
    - Honesty

I will say that the key to anger management, particularly in adults, is not "having control". It's just plain and simple not getting angry in the first place. A mature and stable emotional state doesn't overreact, but instead reacts at a level that is equal to the situation a person is presented with. True anger is reserved for the situations that one (should) rarely experience - the death of a loved one and extreme breaches of society's rules tend to be good examples. There is little that can prepare someone for a proper emotional response to certain events in life, but plenty that can prepare someone for proper emotional responses to the small stuff.

Having emotional control lets you not make poor decisions when faced with extreme (and usually new) experiences. There may be some crazy thing that sparks RATIONAL emotion of some sort, but good emotional control doesn't let your actions get out of hand. Mature and emotional stability on the other hand is essentially not having an irrational emotional feeling to a stimulus.

The best thing you can do is recognize how silly it was to have such an extreme reaction to something that is meaningless in the first place. Learn from that situation, apply it to the future. I sure as heck bet you don't get angry at the color yellow, that's an equally silly thing to get angry at.

It's always worthwhile to, before saying or doing anything, ask yourself:

"Does this make me a jerk?"

If so, don't do it. You'd be surprised how many bad choices we all could avoid with this simple little tool.

I am an introverted geek. I was picked on verbally all throughout school. He-Man, GI Joe, Transformers, and Thundercats taught me that vengeance and such was bad so I strived to be patient and forgiving.

But I have my limits. I have also developed "buttons" that can get me from calm to "red hot" in under a minute. Most of my friends know that when I get verbal about something that I am seriously pissed off and will try to disarm the situation. I have been fortunate to never have been in a physical fight. Heaven help the person that would tick me off to the point of being physical.

Yeah. I figured that might get a laugh or two. But it's true. Thank God I wasn't raised by Spongebob Squarepants.

I have a pretty even temper....if someone's messing with me, I'm usually pretty good at comebacks. It takes a lot for me to totally freak out and slap someone in the face..well, maybe not so much..but oh well. I don't really have any friends in the first place, exept for the ball python, dogs and rats! I would like to keep it that way.

I grew up with a horrible temper. I am easily frustrated to this day, but I have much more control over it. Every once in a while I'll throw something across the room, but it doesn't happen often

I had a hard time in middle school. I was picked on a lot and sometimes couldn't control my frustration with other people and on a few occasions I expressed my emotions physically and was promptly sent to the principals office.

It really isn't a big deal.. everyone is saying it is a big problem and you should see a counselor but I disagree. At that age, who doesn't have "anger problems"? You should grow out of it. I find a good way to get all my frustration and anger out is to keep a journal and write it all down. I still do this now from time to time if something is really bothering me and I have no one to talk to about it.

From my experience, middle schoolers are particularly mean to each other. Try not to be that guy . The people who bullied me in middle school didn't go very far in life... Your patience and calmness will pay off in the long run.
