Thank you very much for the help, I just cant believe they would try to do this, it is such a gorgeous animal too!
I have printed all the emails and pictures just in case.
Good. Let us know if they keep up their end of the deal and honor their guarantee.

    conclusion

I have had the ball for about two months now and he is completely healthy. we are still keeping him on the antibiotics to make sure he doesn't get infected again but those stop in a week.
The breeder did eventually keep their end but only after a threat of legal action. they have had to pay over 500$ in vet bills and they returned all the money I spent on the snake himself, in the end, I now own a beautiful albino male who is happy and healthy, and I got him for free because of their dishonest ways.

Wow, please name the breeder/shop so I know to stay clear away! Glad to hear the little guy is all better now.

Thank you for the update! Didn't initially see this thread until today, but it's always nice to read a follow up (especially a happy one!)

    Re: help!

While it's still awful this situation happened in the first place, I'm happy to hear you handled it the way you did, and the breeder stepped up to compensate you (albeit only through threat of legal action).
No doubt you don't want to go through this ordeal again, but hey, you have a beautiful (free!) snake, and your animal is on its way to recovery.

    Congrats.
