I have no problem answering your questions, but you can at least gather 3 or 4 in one thread so you can get more complete answers from people rather than one liners.
You have a choice man. Let me open up as many questions as I want..Just ignore me and keep it moving. Thanks and you are now ignored.

I picked one up at Walmart and another at a head shop. The ones at head shops tend to weigh smaller amounts, but can be more accurate.

I'd love to give you my advice, but you make it very difficult. Your questions are decent, but many of them are related and could be answered in more depth if they were in the same thread.

Also, the search function will yield the answers to all of these questions. Its fine if you'd like to ask them again, but please at least do a little bit of homework before you ask.

I'm sorry to see you have put me on your ignore list. I presume more will be added to that ever growing list as you seem to put anyone on it who has given a reply that "you don't like".

Grow up. That kind of attitude will not make you many friends.

As for scales, I use this one: http://www.amazon.com/Escali-Pound-K...s=escali+scale

Here's my thoughts about MrBrute. I think he really, really does want to make friends here, but he's stumbled a few times, made a few bad decisions (neg repping in retaliation), and got his ass roundly handed to him by the members here.

I don't believe he means to be "troll-ish" in his behavior, I think he's just eagerly trying to jump in with both feet to make friends here, but because of his rough start and how people have responded to everything he posts in a way to try to bait him. Not every one - but certainly some select members are clearly baiting him. I would be defensive as well.

MrBrute - my advise to you - take a hiatus from starting new threads for a few days. DO use the search function for some of your questions - as I told you privately, there's a wealth of information here just waiting for you to discover it. Lurk a bit, feel free however, to participate in threads where you think you can make a POSITIVE contribution, but don't take other's bait, and don't tell people you've put them on ignore - it makes you look childish - and is getting you the negative attention that you don't want.

I hope a year from now we'll all look back and laugh TOGETHER at your rough start, and you'll be a welcome and positive contributing member with lots of friends here.

Basically any scale that reads 1 gm to 4 or 5000 gm will be fine. The big issue isn't accuracy but repeatability if you place the same object on 3 times do you get the same weight reading. If you were a breeder accuracy maybe more of an issue but as a beginner it makes little difference if the snake is 110 or 117 gm as long as it reads the same if weighed and removed and re weighed. The idea is to track trends not absolutes is the snake gaining weight or losing weight high accuracy isn't needed just repeatability.

I have been answering questions you have posted diligently. I must agree somewhat with others the multiple over lapping posts tend to muddy the waters a bit. I'll post my opinion in one and then find a second where the same answer could be posted as well. There is nothing wrong with asking questions and sometimes simple questions are easy but if you ask a question and then ask a reworded version of the same. This may not actually be helpful but just end up being confusing. I'd make the suggestion that ask your questions but try not to overlap the questions.
