Looks fine for a Diamond crossing to me, very low percentage, but present none the less. It will really only matter when it comes to the final size of the animals since Diamond blood tends to make them grow slightly larger. It's a great looking carpet though and will get a lot nicer with age. Once they hit the 18 month mark they start taking off with colors and personality. Babies have their own style, and some can be sweet or demons, but once they get to 3-4 ft (some people suggest 5'+), they get this puppy dog tame behavior that is quite appealing. Don't worry if it becomes bitey, its all part of the game at fist, and they will generally calm down once out of the cage.
Congrats.

When dealing with crosses the changes in the appearances come from the percentages of each cross in them. This one looks more like a jungle so it probably just has low diamond percentages in it. It still would be a diamond x jungle though. That has to do with how it was bred not how it looks. The reason they don't seem like either is right now carpet hatchlings get their colours as they age more. The more sheds thy get the brighter they will get as they grow. Right now it looks like a jungle hatchling. If a breeder sold it as a diamondxjungle that's is most likely what it is and that's what it looks like.

The only reason I said that is because when I hear diamondxjungle I think of a 50% cross

It wouldn't necessarily be that because it depends on how pure the bloodline was from the parents.
