I will be working with dumerils and Colombian boas so for adults would 60" x 36" x 12" be large enough tubs? as for new babies I'm planning on using 41 quart sterelite tubs. Probably over kill on baby tubs but I like giving them plenty of places to hide and regulate.
Well, that tub size would be ok. At least the width x length. Personally, I'd prefer 18" of height. Boas will climb if given the opportunity. They are more intelligent and more inquisitive than BPs, not to mention less shy. So they are not as content to live in close fitting tubs like BPs are. The 12" height may invite nose rubs. If you're going to do a DYI rack with pvc, why not just build cages?? Shouldn't be any more difficult - ACE hardware will cut glass or plexiglass for the front. And it would be better for the boas....
