    Humidity equipment? Spray bottle.

I like plexi. You can just cut out an appropriately sized sheet and lay it over the screen. No taping required.

Home depot carries it. Just make sure you get the handy acrylic cutter (usually located close to the plexi) for easy cutting.

True, but if you expand you already have the room for it. I went from 1 to 15 in less than 6 months. Hopefully you have more self control than I do.

I take a mesh lid, call up my glass place, have a piece cut to about 2/3 the size of the mesh top, then zip-tie it into place using my big zip ties.

Viola. Reduced open top. Secure top (I use luggage straps to secure these lids on the tanks themselves). Safe for the snake. Safe for you (provided you don't drop the lid, but lifting it up is easy).

I even put the glass so that it's on the 'inside' of the mesh lid, so pointing down towards the tank. The edges are grinded down and pose no threat to my snake.

I use an UTH obviously. Would NOT do this with a heat lamp due to the risk of the glass breaking.

So far, this has resolved many of my humidity issues, while still encouraging airflow throughout the tank.

I adapted this method when I turned my 10g tanks vertical for my young crested and gargoyle geckos. Works awesome.

Adjustable lamp stands, screen tops covered with insulated bubble wrap. It's white on one side and reflective foil on the other. Easily maintained 90hot/80cool and 50-65% humidity accomplished with once daily misting. Easy as pie.
