One theory is that paradox snakes are chimeras; combinations of siblings that merged into one snake early on (sort of the opposite of identical twins). When all the siblings are normal it would be hard to notice a combination of two normal siblings because both parts would look the same. But once we started to have clutches were some of the siblings where morphs and some were normals you could see the morphs/normal combo animals. Now that we are to the point of having clutches were some siblings are one morph and others are a different morph we should start seeing more morph/morphs paradox snakes.
