If you can afford it, buy a rack system. Fish tanks are for fish not ball pythons. LAUGH OUT LOUD!

I'm warning you now, once you do you will notice that you will soon need another.

I now have 5 ball pythons after buying my first only 2 months ago!!! And am now needing to look at buying g another rack in probably 5 months.

Lol I meant like where do you put them? Bookshelves or tables or something like that? I have some shelves in a closet I'm planning on turning into a reptile room so that could work (very large closet by the way lol)

I do the same thing, I only have tubs with the locking lids there is no rack system for me just yet. I have three BPs each in their own tub, Right now My two new additions are in 66qt tubs because they are used to smaller spaces so I want to work them up slowly to the 110 qt that my first BP is in. He adjusted quickly but I don't want to overwhelm these two because they are used to having less space because they came directly from the breeder. My other one is from the same breeder but he was sold to a local mom and pop pet store where I got him so he is used to more space. Each one of my tubs has a heating pad under it connected to a thermostat and it works wonderfully the temps and humidity stay right where it needs to and as long as they are locked and secured there shouldn't be an issue with just tubs. I hope to have more tubs in the immediate future with a lot of snakes too. I have pics from the creation of the tub for my first snake. It really is pretty simple to do. Part of the reason I personally use tubs is because my BPs aren't really up for display, I personally don't have to see them to be happy with them there. The tubs are all semi clear so they get light and I CAN see them but there aren't too many people that I would show them to.

OMG I LOVE YOUR TANK! Where on Earth did you get this?! This is more of the type of thing that I want for Penny, as I have already decided she is to be my only BP, and she needs to have a space upgrade.

I have my 2 tubs sitting in a book shelf sorta like a rack i guess, but its not its a 3 level book shelf the 2 tubs are on the top 2 shelves and the supplies are on the bottom shelf. It works for me. All temps and husbandry are perfect.

In my experience tubs are fine if the room does not get below 72ºF (76 is better) if it does it will need a secondary heat source of some sort. Tubs have a very limited heating options. I love pvc enclosures easier to heat and manage than any open top aquarium, rack, or tub I have ever owned. My fist choice is PVC type enclosures then the side turned tank rack if you have no space, tub, and tank open top.
