    Soak them in slightly warm water with a few drops of dawn like the person above mentioned. While they are soaking clean out their bin. Use paper towels as bedding until you get rid of those little buggers. Dry your snake off and oil him up with Lice MD (purchased from Wal-Mart). The lice MD will basically suffocate the mites and they will fall off which you will see them since your snake is now on white paper towels. This worked great for me and more importantly never harmed my snakes.
