What is: Het Red Axanthic?
Trying to figure out what a Het Red Axanthic is. I looked at WOBP, but why is it called a het red? Is there a super form because I haven't seen anything.

It's a confusing Morph name Het Red Axanthic super form is just called the "Red Axanthic"
Het Red's are Co-Dom, as they do change the visual appearance of the animal with only 1 gene. (Similar to how Yellow Bellies are also called "Het Ivory")

Go there and click on gallery. Corey Woods is the one who found the morph and has done the most breeding with them

Good topic. I've been wondering myself lately, just never enough to actually ask about it.

Re: What is: Het Red Axanthic?
I hate the term "het red" They really should change the name as it is super confusing. The Het Red is an actual visual morph in itself. There is a super form as someone pointed out called a red axanthic.
I think the term "het" should be reserved strictly for recessive gene snakes. But it is what it is.

So is a Red Axanthic just an axanthic snake or something else in terms of phenotype?

Het red Axanthic is a co dominant morph and the super is called a red Axanthic. Red axanthics start off your conventional Axanthic coloration. Then the black turns a rusty red color and the grey turns a creamy yellow. Very sexy underrated morph.

I'm sure that's what he thought! But when pairing it with a cinny, you get gargoyles not super cinnys .
With black pastel, you get the onyx, not a super black pastel .
