The bungee cords are to secure the lid, are they? If so I feel like that tub will be a "help me catch my escaped snake" thread waiting to happen. Congrats on getting what you wanted, though!

It looks like it has locking handles on both sides. I doubt a snake that small is going to be able to rip the lid off that thing.

I think the bungee cords are overkill. If you feel better using them, then so be it. I just hate having to bungee a tub up every time I need to get in and out.

I've kept snakes in snap top lids and no escapes.
