I am not afraid, I just don't want to do something stupid that will hurt the snake. Can't be any worse than a horse, dog, cat, or macaw bite and I have had ALL of those.
Honestly I think that a bee sting hurts way worse than a bite from a BP. Really nothing to be concerned about. The first time I got bit I didn't even realize that I did until I looked down and saw the teeth marks.
