Most of the time you don't have to do anything, maybe pour some peroxide over the wound to disinfect it, abut a BP bite is a lot like getting a shot. (clean puncture wounds that heal very quickly)


Thanks for the answer... I know it will happen eventually, there are too many reasons (in my house we have dogs, cats that are always jumping up or wanting to see what we are doing with the snake) for the snake to get alarmed and bite out in fear or defense. I am not afraid, I just don't want to do something stupid that will hurt the snake. Can't be any worse than a horse, dog, cat, or macaw bite and I have had ALL of those.
