Pastel Het Clown male or female, and a het clown counter . . . may push the limit though, since Pastel Hets are going for a pretty penny now a days .

I have seen numerous clowns for $750 to $800 released this year.
They do sell fast at that price which is a good thing

First question I would ask is what are your goal: Pet or Breeding?

If breeding what mutation if any do you already own and are those females?

    Deborah asked the right question.

For me, I'd be very very tempted to go clown but I don't know how I feel about working with more expensive recessives with no reputation in the business as I'd be concerned about selling hets.

A super form female would be great too. I really like the idea of not having to deal with raising and rehoming normal babies.

    Absolutely.
    Herps are cool.

One of the attractions of outdoor pursuits activities for many people is that life is reduced to the barest essentials, and in the process a more intimate connection to the natural world is established. Food that would be trashed or fed to the dog at home tastes wonderful, a cup of murky water is much appreciated, and after a few days, even a thin sleeping pad can feel like a comfortable mattress as tired bones are able to rest after a hard day's work.

    Re: $800

I have a pied, but after that it would be a really hard decision between a clown or a g-stripe. I was never a big fan of g-stripes then I saw what they look like in albino and axanthics and ill be all over one in the future. If I really couldn't decide on either of those I'd seriously think about saving a little longer and picking up a champagne male. But if you don't have a pied yet and you shop around you could probably pick up a male pied and a couple female hets for that price range.
