I've been kind of thinking that a well. Though, the past few months she hasn't had any issues with the larger stump hide... She regulates between hot side and cool side normally. My ambient air temp is usually about 78. No clue. She just burrown through the bedding to the glass unter the water soak and stays there in a ball... I will post a picture if i can tonight when i get home of her curled up under there.

Building behavior can last for months. I would keep all as normal. Of she lays she'll lay infertile. Sometimes they reabsorbe follicles. What building means is her follicles are building up Getting ready for Ovulation. Once ov approaches, the follicles the "eggs" move into the oviduct and become eggs. If you have her out sometime stretch her out and run your fingers down her body on her stomach. You have to press a bit. Look up palapatation, you'll be able to feel what feels like a string of pearls. That way you can confirm for yourself she's building. But that's pretty classic behavior. The girls usually eat ravenously during this time.
Ps Good for you about waiting to do more research! I wish more people would do that.

Dude... You are my hero... I had her out last nigh and actually felt this I think. A few inches up from thevent area. My gf felt it and freaked out... i thought it was just a BIG poopy in progress... She currently eats 1 FTrat every sunday. I will keep all as it is then... Should i keep the temps the same as well?
I Have become a firm believer of doing research first... My friends jumped and bought snakes because i did. They all died due to lack of care and WAY WRONG husbandry... One of them even killed a RTB(sheesh). But i deffinatly DO NOT want to try to breed and have a bum clutch or harm my snake in the process. I'm too attached. So, I wait until I'm properly educated and more importantly, since i want them all for myself(hehe) to be properly set up and equipped to take care of all of them and have a nice food breeder set up as well, being as that frozen are pricy...
Proper education should be a must.
