    Hatchling not eating

I just purchased a hatchling. She has been in my rack for about a week. I tried offering her frozen thawed mouse and rat pup with no luck. I also tried a live hopper and adult mouse with no luck. What do most people do in this situation? Thanks

What size tub do you have her housed in? If the tub is to big she could be very stressed out and also what are your temperatures on the hot and cool side?

Ball up newspaper and fill her tub with it, except for the water dish area. Give her a week to settle.

Are you pre-scenting? What was she eating from the breeder you purchased her from?

I think the breeder said live mouse hoppers. I have her in a 12 tub but I have a small hide in there. The basking temp in 90 the cool side is 78. Should I just let her alone for another week and then try a live hopper?

I would wait 5-7 days between feeding attempts.

Mouse hoppers are probably your best bet.
