    Charles Salmon, globalsnakes@yahoo.com

The below is an exact copy of my info post on Fauna's BOI:

This is just my account of a recent transaction with Charlie Salmon, it is not a bad guy thread because I did eventually receive the snake and it was
the correct snake that I paid for, just the way it was handled I feel others should be made aware of before they enter a transaction with him.

I responded to an ad of his on kingsnake for a Guyana BCC female, I called him first and he was happy that I called him because he said his laptop was
out of commission so he wouldn't have received an email. I asked for some more pictures of her and he agreed to email them to me the next day, which he did plus pictures of a few other snakes he hadn't currently listed for sale. They were all nice snakes but after talking to him on the phone again I decided to go with the one I had originally inquired about.

We agreed on the price and the shipping price. When I asked about shipping he said he couldn't give me an accurate quote so he asked that I add $35 to
the total and he would cover any additional that it could cost, to which I agreed. I asked if his email address was the same as his paypal address. He
said yes but he preferred money orders and asked that I add the 3% paypal seller's fee to the total or send it as a gift (I should have raised the flag
there but the price was fair enough that I didn't mind paying the small bit extra). I explained that I was going to use paypal because it protects not
only the buyer but the seller as well much better than a money order and he agreed.

After payment it was a few weeks before both him and I were comfortable with the weather to ship. And here is the text conversations that followed
    during transit.

I've overlapped the screenshots enough to show that no message has been omitted.

After the text I sent him on Apr 1st he called me and explained that he doesn't use Fedex because they "screwed him over before" and that he only uses UPS. I told him that's fine with me as I've received snakes via UPS before as well.

The morning of Apr 9th is when I sent the text saying that my overnight lows were good to ship. He called me a few hours after that and said that he
wouldn't be able to ship that day, which was fine with me as I had told him I was off Tues/Weds which were Apr 10th and 11th.

I received his message saying he was shipping that day (Apr 9th) and was pleasantly surprised. I (wrongly) assumed that he would send me the tracking
number within a reasonable time after he shipped, but he didn't. So the message you see I sent him on Apr 10th was when I first woke up in the morning, to which you can see he replied that he was at work but said the box would arrive by 3pm.

Around 5:20 my time is when I messaged him again because the UPS driver hadn't showed up (it's been rare that either my girlfriend or I have received a
snake from either UPS or Fedex after 12pm because of the location and size of our local hub) and I would kind of like to at least have a tracking number.

About an hour after I said that he replied that the box wouldn't arrive until the next day, Apr 11th (Which after you see the pictures of the shipping label I will post below this you can see he knew very well that the box was never going to arrive on the 10th, and this response led me to believe he was able to track it... which only made me wonder worse why he wouldn't give me a tracking number). To which I asked whether she was sent over night.. which he never answered.

The next day my doorbell rang so I went to answer it expecting a UPS driver but the postman was standing there with a box addressed to me and a signature slip, naturally I was a little surprised that the postal service was delivering a snake to me... Here are images of the express mail form attached to the top of the box:

It's very clear that she was shipped 2nd day and it even states on the form that the day of delivery is Apr 11th, so I was more than a little angry that
I spent all day sitting around waiting on a UPS driver that the seller knew was never going to arrive on the 10th.

After I sent him the text message on the 11th asking why she was sent 2 day through the postal service he immediately called me and said that she was
sent that way because UPS "couldn't guarantee that she would be delivered the next day." He went on the explain that a package he sent the very same
time as mine only through UPS still hadn't arrived so he couldn't justify sending her overnight.

My main concern is that he would not ship due to temps and the risks involved to the snake yet he turned around and sent her 2 day instead of overnight,
while at the same time flat out lying and saying she would arrive a day before he knew himself she would. Let alone the fact that he avoided giving me a
tracking number, which I suspect he knew would cause me alarm because I would find out it wasn't sent UPS overnight.

That is just wrong. I would highly suggest that no one purchase from any seller that ships Postal Service.

I am glad to hear that the snake did arrive safely though.

Nope thats BS. Maybe hes a nice guy, but he went about that alllll wrong. I wouldnt buy from him again.

I really dont understand why sellers think its ok to treat customers like this. Before i buy from anyone i check their BOI. If i see just 1 negative review it kinda puts me off a little bit...

I do the same thing, couldn't find a single negative thing about him.

At least now there's 1 negative post about him on the BOI, which is from me.

    Re: Charles Salmon, globalsnakes@yahoo.com

I have recently had a situation with Charlie from Classic Constrictors. I purchased 2 "Female" pastels from him at Memphis Repticon. I made the mistake of trusting him that they were indeed both females. After about a week of letting them settle in and 2 meals of ASF's I took them out and popped them to make sure they were females. This is what I found.

    Male #1

    Male#2

I contacted him on the 15th on September in which I was told that I would get a full refund, and He wanted me to either keep them or find a good home for them since I did not need anymore males. I still have yet to receive a refund being told he was broken into and just moved from LA and was short on funds. I spoke with him yesterday and was told "Have not or been able to send $... and I want to send enough for you to ship at least one BP back to me". I have no problem at all sending them back and getting my money back or getting 2 females. But, this has now been 3 weeks since my purchase and contacting him still with no resolution.

I will follow up with a conclusion when everything is resolved, as well as pictures/screenshots of all communication.

Can't you take him to court or something? That's ridiculous. Where's the money that you spent on his snakes?! Why are people wired as takers to this extent?!!!!!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but is it not a Felony to send snakes through USPS? There are no grandfathered shippers like UPS. . . . USPS has very strict rules about such a thing, and I've heard stories of people who receive shipments from USPS going to court even though they were on the receiving side. . . This post should be bad guy IMO, the word should be out there to let people know. I personally will avoid this person regardless of what kind of "deal" is being offered, and after those pictures of the popping would never even think to trust him on his sexing!!

No you're right, no snakes period; but after looking it up I found out that you can't send any snake but you can send an alligator up to like 24" though the postal service lol.
