It's been around for a long time.
It's been true for longer than that.
Being male is easy, you're born with the hardware, some between your legs, some between your ears.
Being a man mean's thinking and taking responsibility. This means using MORE than the hardware between your legs.
Many males don't understand this. SFI is about the best I can not say about them.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

On a related note, anyone ever cut ties with a friend because it turned out they cheated on a SO?
I have. I don't tolerate that behavior, and I don't associate myself with liars, cheats, and general bad people.

mainbutter: Yes. A few times. If they can't respect their SO, which is supposed to mean so much to them, then how good a friend are they really? Do I want to be associated with someone who cares so little about how their actions affect other people?
Not worth it. You burn more bridges than just with your SO if you make a choice like that. I'd treat anyone who abused or neglected their dog in a similar way too. Don't want someone like that around me.

Yes I have. Also, I've been married for more than 30 years. There have been plenty of temptations and opportunities, however, I know how much an affair would hurt my wife, who happens to be my best friend. No strange is worth violating that trust. A good relationship is built on love, respect and trust. Any of those missing and it is pretty much doomed to failure. Cheating violates both trust and respect. That is very hard to overcome. OP, good luck whatever you do. I hope the best for you.

Yes, they generally have other personality/moral issues that cause the behavior.

Hey don't get me wrong, I love Tay Tay. I wish more people would follow the advice in this song and quit this breaking up and getting back together nonsense! It always ends the same!
