    If you take a look at this care sheet you will likely find a number of reasons that your ball isn't eating. Honestly, I would think that being "gravid" with eggs is probably not the reason.

    Housing together is frowned upon. They are solitary animals in the wild unless it's breeding season. You generally get a much better feeding response when they are housed separately.
