Unfortunately I only see potential in the second pastel and the normal. The pastel is questionable because the belly pic isn't straight on. I don't see definitive striping in the cinny or the pewter.

On a side note: never underestimate those tiny guys when it comes to breeding. Sometimes it just takes the right girl. I would hold back the pewter just to have another female in the project. As soon as I get back home I'll post pics of the newest Urban Camo and his clutch mates. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Re: Pewter Poss Het Pied Clutch! (Hold back, or not?)

Oh, no, the seeds of doubt!

Yeah, but I really wanted him to make some black pastels het pied for me. And as soon as I introduced him to the 2009 pastel (who was growing faster than the pewter, also a 2009) he just... lost interest in the black pastel.

I just don't know how to make this panda project work. I had TWO black pastel x pied pairings last year, both with 2008 girls, and NEITHER produced eggs. Those were the first two females I bought! It's driving me bananas.
