It feels like fall is already beginning here in Chicago. We've had some 65º high days here and there. They are welcomed! I love hoodie weather.
DrDooLittle, where are you located? Never fear! Fall is on its way! I'm very excited. Fall means birthday, nice weather, NARBC, Breeding, Halloween, and thanksgiving!! yum!!

I wish it could be 75 degrees all year round. I will say though, I am much more tolerant to heat than cold. I guess that's cause I grew up here. I could never live in a cold climate unless I could learn to hibernate.

I love heat, but my "good zone" is in the 75-80 range. When it's hot outside, you can take layers off and feel better. When it's like it was 2 hours ago and just plain cold (50s) then that's pushing it.

This I have to disagree with, lol. You can't always take off enough layers to cool off, but you can always put on more to get warm. Haha, its 55 outside right now and feels so refreshing.

Fall feels like it has already started to set in here. And I'm loving every minute of it. I don't mind summer too much but this year sucked cause the ac went out in my car, so I am more than ready for the cooler weather. I have taken the first week of October to drive the blue ridge parkway to see all the leaves changing colors.

I am awaiting the day we can get down into the 80's. Cooler weather will be welcome with open arms! So far our forecast says we might actually get down to 89 by thursday! I dont think it even got below 70 overnight!

It's finally cooled down a little here. This has been one of our hottest and driest summers on record, and to add insult to injury, we didn't have what I consider a winter here last year. Last 'winter', it was around 55 most of the time, with one night down to 16, and it was in the high 80s in most of February. It was over 100 here for most of June and part of July, which makes even swimming miserable.
Thankfully, autumn is coming, or the plant life certainly seems to think so. The spider lilies, beauty bush, and asters are blooming and bearing, and the trees have been turning for a month now. I can't wait for cooler weather, and I hope we have a real (for Alabama) winter this year.
