You know, the thing that makes me skeptical of the 'stolen' conclusion is the rack. Who the heck steals a rack? And how?

Re: Does this sound like "stolen" balls to you?
I'm not sure how I feel about this whole situation. It kind of screams "stolen merchandise" to me, but you'd be surprised the kind of offers pet store workers get for trading or buying animals or equipment. I've had a few people ask me to build them a rack like the one I made for myself, and I've had one offer to buy the one I already made, and people are always asking if I want their snake/rat/cat when I express a common interest. Not impossible, just improbable for that price I think.
The challenge in this situation I think is that even if they're stolen, in the state that OP and I live, balls are permit-only snakes. DoA here makes it near impossible to get one of the permits, so if they were stolen the rightful owner couldn't go to the police without admitting to a crime.

Buying stolen animals: Wrong
Not reporting suspected stolen animals: Wrong
Keeping animals illegally: Wrong.
....I think that about says it all.

option #2 dont report them and if by some act of god they figure out he has them .... this is where ignorance is bliss ... he didnt know so he cant be charged and the same again he would have to give them up no refund... BUT the chances of them figure out he has them slim to none... you honestly think cops are going to investigate a stolen pet? HAHA they will investigate the B&E but there not gonna investigate where the pet ended up. trust me they got better stuff to do
i have been in law school for 3 years now and most of my professors are lawyers that get off to loop wholes and ways around getting in trouble.
This right here shows why I wouldnt do business with you. Its sad that you have no morals or ethics. One day when you get poked please dont post about it here because I will be the first to break it off in you Make sure you get all your snakes sexed before you buy them

I have VERY good pictures of all of my snakes and their patterns are just as good as a finger print.

THIS is EXACTLY my thoughts. For now, he is going to keep them, and we are all scouring fauna, CL, here, and the like for anybody making reports of stolen snakes. They have been photographed, and if the police need proof, the guy is on camera bringing the snakes into our store, and showing them to my co-worker. If within a certain time frame no one comes forward, the snakes are his.

Re: Does this sound like "stolen" balls to you?
The snakes are obviously stolen.....
The guy didn't even know what morphs he had, much less their value.
My local shop has a few obvious stolen snakes brought in the store every week with someone trying to get anything for them. He plays dumb and asks them what kind it is and how old it is. These idiots are always wrong, and he NEVER buys stolen snakes.
Buying them only causes the cycle to continue. If you give a theif even $100 for something with a street value of $1K, he will surely go out and try to steal more if he thinks he can unload them easily.
The right thing to do is just say "no thanks" and stop the cycle. If he can't unload them, he won't steal more....

I wouldn't be proudly, or publicly admitting I'm in the 3rd year of a 2 year program Obviously they didn't put you through English Composion 101 either.
I am more than happy to say it took me well less than 6 years for two Bachelors of Science degree's though... Nuclear Engineering and Nursing Nuclear power got boring after 15 years. Nursing is getting boring after 6 years, but I hate to give up 3 day work weeks. Those 4 days off give me plenty of time to tend with my honestly purchased bp's.

I am enrolled in a 2 yr associates in science degree with an online college, and I know it will take me more than 2 yrs to graduate. I have a family with 3 young children, a full time job, all the extra curricular activities me children do, and 50+ snakes to take care of. Online schooling was my best option so I can study at my own pace. Maybe it would be a smart decision to think of someone else's circumstances before you post such things.
And it also has been questioned that maybe this person is not from the US so they might not know proper English........

I don't think the length of the schooling is the issue with the thread. The issue with the thread is the poster said in one post that he was in his third year in a law enforcement degree. Then in another post, he said he was in his third year of law school. Come to find out that he is really in his second year of an associates degree. I have great respect for those who balance school and work. I earned my bachelors degree while working full time and trying to spend time with my wife and kids. I did the same when I earned my masters degree. The bachelors degree took me a lot longer than four years, because I could not take a full load every semester. People who earn their degrees like this have my highest respect, because I know how hard it is compared to having nothing but school to worry about.
I've now worked in management for professional service firms for 30 years, where most people I work with have more than a master's degree. In my position, I do a lot of hiring and have learned to spot inconsistencies when someone talks about their employment or education. I saw something that did not look right, and I was correct. The person posting this obviously inflated their education (by about five years of study) to attempt to gain credibility in the thread. I apologize for taking the thread off topic.
